Today, I went to the Oaxaca Lending Library because I had heard that they might need someone to bring back books they had shipped to the US. I mentioned that I would be returning for a few weeks and could help. They gave me the email address of the woman in charge of the book buying. They also gave me a stack of mail to deliver to any mailbox in the US.

Part of me desperately wants to know what’s in the envelopes. I know one has an absentee ballot that is not going to make it on time. Another appears to be some sort of bill. I have no idea how long these letters have been waiting for someone to take them on a trip. I also am a bit surprised that they might just turn the mail over to any person looking to help, but, I will get them in a mailbox intact.
