The photographer tells the fifteen-year-old girl–standing before him in her high heels (traditionally her first pair) and her hill of a gown–to jump.
She looks at him as if to ask: Seriously? and tells him she can throw her bouquet as the boys surrounding her jump.
He does not look appeased. She looks hard at him as if to say: I am a woman now. I have to have some decorum.
The photographer insists: “One, two, three.”
The boys jump.
