solarposadaThe other morning as I was getting ready for work, I saw two men with a rope climb the ladder outside my window. Initially, I thought, they were installing a clothesline (which would be nice).  I hurried to see what was going on, and as I reached the front door of the posada, I saw this jumble of materials.

Mari, knowing that I would ask, offered the explanation that the posada was getting a solar system and that there was one in the past, but it needed to be replaced.  I thought this was an interesting coincidence given the fact that we had no power the day before and that we were the only ones on the street without power (but with internet access).  We are up and running now  The water is not as hot, or maybe it is.
