On Wednesday night, we headed to the Hualalai Four Seasons Beachtree Bar at the Four Seasons, a beautiful place to watch the sun dive into the sea. Two musicians played into the darkness as we sipped Banana Javas in the cooling sand on the seashore.
When we ordered the drink, which is no longer on the Beachtree’s menu, the bartender said that it was an old school request and confirmed the ingredients with us: Coffee Liqueur, Crème de Banana, and ice cream. Dessert and a drink all in one, this cocktail is as nectarous as it sounds.
