This afternoon we visited the Ueshima Coffee Company. It is a coffee plantation, roasting company, and open-air store with plenty of samples of Kona coffee products: coffee, chocolate covered coffee beans, ice cream, and more.
The welcoming woman in the shop shared a sample of the best iced coffee I’ve ever tasted and a recipe that made a lot of sense, but I probably never would’ve figured it out myself. Here goes. Put the normal amount of coffee in a filter; put half of the amount of water in the reservoir. After it brews, add ice to chill.
Not only is this place perfumed with the glorious scent of fresh-roasted coffee, but the views of the rows of coffee trees and the ocean far below make this a spectacular must-see site.
