As we were watching the sun dive into the Pacific at 6:56 pm, we wondered if there’d be a green flash, if the clouds all around us would fluoresce with the ultra pink of the horizon, if the winds would pick up, and how long the birds entreating at our feet would stay.
Though there was no green flash, no incandescence, no winds to accompany the darkness, the birds bowed three times three minutes after sunset and then shot off toward the dark trees.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!
