Okay, I’ve already admitted that I am not the greatest photographer. I’m too slow, unprepared, and so on. However, during the market in Llano on Friday, I found a group of skateboarders and learned to listen for when they hit the front of the metal ramp they were racing onto. Hearing them connect, I would wait two seconds and then snap. The result is a collection of young men — like the cahuetes (fireworks) here — rocketed into the sky for brief seconds before landing (or not) on their skateboards.
Like the dances on Wednesday nights; there mountains of people participating and equal numbers of spectators.
