Jesus Arrived – For Reals

As I mentioned, the arrival of Jesus was part of the processions for the Nochebuena. And, in looking at the many nacimientos around the city, I could see that Jesus arrived, in most cases, around noon on Monday, after he had already been displayed in radish form on Sunday.

I particularly like the display at Cafe Brujula. Christ looks as if he has just been tossed on the ground, no manger, no blankets, nothing. And, his mother and father seem far away as if they were not prepared for this divine arrival.
