This morning, at around 10:30, I had some time to walk through the market and carnival rides in Llano Park. Aside from some people playing Christmas music at their stands, the morning was silent. There were few people around, and the people who were present were vendors sweeping up trash and fixing their booths.
The bright colors of the carousel and other rides, of the signs for all sorts of sweet and delicious foods, and of the stands themselves filled the cool morning air. I was even able to find one of the fountains because the park was sleeping in. By eleven, the day would be heating up and the attractions would be suddenly and impossibly in full swing. I am happy to have had the chance to poke around, to take my time, to orient myself even though I know that the carnival and shopping will be cleared out by Monday morning.
I love your photographs. Really–they are so rich and colorful and detailed.
