Tonight, I went to see my second 3D movie, Ralph el Demoledor. When I went to buy the ticket for the 7 p.m. show, there were oodles of empty seats. As the woman selling tickets warned me that the movie is in Spanish, I selected seat I1 and told her it was better all in Spanish, better for me to learn.
Because I am not familiar with video games, my lack of knowledge in this area proved to be as challenging as my Spanish level. I am neither familiar with Wreck-it Ralph nor Fix-It Felix, but I could still follow the plot. I am sure I missed some of the nuances, especially in the end as Vanellope Von Schweetz (a character in a game called Sugar Rush) and Ralph are insulting each other and escalating the insults. I hated that I couldn’t keep up with escalating insults. I have to expand my lexicon.
