Some suggest that the best way to prevent graffiti is to fill the blank canvases–warehouse walls, back alleys, block walls, underpasses, and other “galleries”–with art. These arresting signs punctuating Reno’s downtown are so much more appealing than the bombs, fills, tags, and throw-ups that fill many cities.
