Looking at the afternoon sky with its rainbow and the night sky with its full moon, I think about the time change. Yesterday, we moved our clocks back an hour, and, because the US will not do this until the Sunday following Halloween, I am, for now, an hour closer to home.
An hour closer to sleeping in my own bed and showering in my own bathroom, an hour nearer to the autumn sun shower that I look forward to at this time of year, an hour less in between us.
