Among multitudes of other things, signs in Oaxaca are delightful. I have already shared a couple of the library’s notices, but today I had to smile at the “LIBROS A BAJO PRECIO” (Books at a low price) sign posted at the bottom of a window. Attention grabbing, memorable, effective.
Then, as I was heading to the restroom, I saw the following:
It reminded me of another sign, in a lingerie shop, that read: “No Toca” (Don’t Touch).
I know signs such as this are posted for a reason and laugh to myself imagining what inspired such a sign.
