When the kids have the camera, they perform for it. Today during a break from our parade, I turned my phone over to some of the kids as others were on the swings, and the show began.
Joseue hung upside down as if he is a bat (his arms shaking to maintain his gymnast’s pose). Gerardo tried this pose as well, but he is too tall. Jenny and Abigail did tricks on the swings. At one point, Jennifer’s hair was sweeping the dirt beneath the swing.
After a few struggles over who was in control of the camera and a few little people complaining: “Teacher… so and so won’t share,” break was over, and we head back up the street to meet more of our neighbors.
