In addition to its beautiful botanical garden, cultural center, museum, and architecture, this church is a meeting and hangout spot, and it can be counted on to produce brides and quinceañeras who are drawn to this golden place of worship and celebration.
Because flash photography is not permitted, it is difficult to capture the radiance of this ecclesiastical complex inside and out. But its impressive architecture, paintings, acres of gold leaf, and ornamentation evoke the hushed reverence of even the least religious tourists.
